Aaaaahhhhhhh...

I got a nice little vacation this past weekend. We hopped in the car and headed down to Heber in Utah for a small family reunion. I even got a little shopping done in Layton--love that Hobby Lobby. we don't have one up here in Idaho. So now I have some fun new scrap supplies to play with and I'm feeling well rested. Always a plus. Logan did great in the car, but Landen did not like being in his carseat that long--what are we going to do when we head up to Washington next month?

Here's my card for the CPS blog- these are the new Hero Arts stamps, so fun. I loved everyone's cards this week-make sure to check them out!
And here's my card for the Sketch this! blog. Got me the new Amy Butler diecuts that I can't get enough of! Picked me up a pad of paper too, Micheals had a 40% off coupon- you know I gotta use that!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy 4th!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We had so much fun going to the parade and BBQ at Brandon's parents house. Logan loved watching the horses in the parade, although he was a little frightened of them. He did really good at the fireworks-plugged his ears a couple times for the loud ones. Can't say I blame him!

Here's my real card for the CPS sketch this week sponsored by Rubbernecker stamps. They are soooo fun to work with--look at that letters stamp! I keep thinking of new ways to use it!

A fun New Years card

Oh, and Jennifer has done an amazing job on the Hero Blog this week! All about interactive cards. I can't wait to try all her wonderful ideas!! You can see my card here.

Have a wonderful day!

New Hero

Hero Arts just came out with a new catalog this month. Boy do they have some YUMMY stamps. 6" x 12" clear stamps--perfect for layouts! I used some of the design blocks on this page. They even have some fun Asian stamps--with chinese lanterns and everything!
So I totally did the wrong CPS card this week, so here's my take on this weeks sketch for the first time!! I'll post the right one tomorrow. Aack-- I think I lost my brain when Landen was born!

Janelle has a fun sketch up on Sketch this! So much fun to see how the sketches can go from card to layout. Here's my take on the sketch:

"Logan is at your service!"

That's what he said to me randomly. I don't know what movie it was from or where he got it, but I wish it was true.... I've got some laundry and dishes that he could have at!! He just cracks me up everyday. Gotta love 2 year olds!

I know, I know, it's july and I'm posting christmas cards. Gotta do what the mags call for right? He he, I actually am LOVING doing some christmas projects right now. Makes me dream of cooler nights.
hugs!

Taking a time out today..

I've been rushing to meet a few deadlines the past couple days so today I get to just relax!! I'm taking the boys to the zoo today and I think they're going to have a blast. Gotta love a pinic and a day filled with monkeys. I'm excited for Logan to see the Tiger, he's totally into them right now. He scares Landen all the time by growling in his face like a Tiger. BOYS! what can you do?

Here's my latest card for Sketch This! Come play along we love to have you!! I used Dream Street papers, felt by Fancypants, chipboard by Making Memories, Stamps by Hero Arts, ink by Memories, Cardstock by Coredinations.

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs to you all!

Sweet thank you

I'm just in love with these sweet papers by Cosmo Cricket. They would make great baby shower thank you cards. I wish I was having a little girl... I'll have to live with all boys until then!!
